That was KiPP then.

This is KiPP now.

The story goes back to 1946 when Paul Kipp set up a painting studio and started trading under his own name. The company has been rendering its first trademark service, road marking, since 1965.

Three years later, Kipp took one of the most pioneering steps in its entire history. Paul Kipp GmbH carried out the first ever running track line markings on plastic at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich. The stadium is still the home stadium for athletics and is frequently used as a venue for open-air concerts, with a capacity of over 30 000.

Due to the growing demand for sports centre line marking, in the 70s Kipp developed a special line marking paint and surface coating from polyurethane. Since then, Paul Kipp GmbH has continued to develop and sell these products.

Kipp completes over a million metres of line markings per year and coats over 190 000 m2 of sports halls per year. And this figure is constantly increasing.
Kipp employs an average of 30 staff, has branches in Hermsdorf near Magdeburg and Passau, is a member of IAKS (International Association of Sports and Leisure Facilities) and is an honorary member of the Quality Association (Gütegemeinschaft Sporthallenböden e.V,  GGS).
